Sweet'n Low
So, as per my usual morning ritual, I'm getting some coffee, I pour a cup, I add some milk (because I don't like my coffee the way I like my women) and as I turn around to get some sugar, I'm blindsided by the most frightening sight of all time, the bowl normally reserved for sugar packets is now full of some type of powdery white substance, apparently masquerading as sugar, called "Sweet'n Low." After I regain my composure, as I'm franticly asking anyone near enough to hear my pleas for help, I'm told its a "sugar substitute." So, being the culinary frontiersman I am, I proceed to put it in my coffee. Big mistake, if by "sugar substitute" they mean a cocaine-like substance that will make your coffee taste like an amalgam of hot bunions and dandruff then yes, it is a terrific "sugar substitute."
